Greetings!
I am Yaschica Coard. I am an degreed accountant, and I am happy with the direction I was led. I am a business owner that has had many ups and downs over the years. Many tips and traps. Things that, honestly, would have been helpful for me to know in the very beginning. The biggest and the hardest lesson was learning that sometimes things do not work out the way we want them.
Next to that was learning about the mindset of resilience that resides in me. We want to always have a positive attitude or hear positive words. But sometimes the hardest things to hear…are the things that make us bigger and better than before. Those things may not sound positive at first.
My experience began at the age of sixteen with my first job. My experience expanded with my employment season after college, and I begin to get more of an inside look inside the business of “corporate America.” I have had the opportunity to work in various industries and fields in different accounting positions that gave me tremendous insight for business.
I hold two accounting degrees, a Bachelors, and Associates of Applied Sciences in Accounting. The school training gave me the starting knowledge that I need to work in business. I began business ownership officially in 2007. I had my own little baby-sitting business from the age of 12 to 15. Yes, entrepreneurship is in my blood.
The study of the field of accounting gave me the knowledge I needed to comprehend and begin to change things for the better in business operations. Hands-on experience gave me what I needed to clean out the things that are not working. And to expand so we can move forward all the while increasing profits. I learned more from the hands-on experience than in school.
I am not knocking school because it certainly helped but there is nothing like hands on experience. And I realized I grew faster in my job positions because I had school training. Hence the training I give because we learn more through comprehension of our needs and hands-on experiences.
We can learn more through the performance of positions within our business. With the proper comprehension of what it takes to complete tasks, we can see what others need when we delegate the responsibility of those tasks to others. Or we can better assess applications and tools that can assist with “automation” or management of those tasks. I am a one-person business and I use tools to assist me with running and maintaining my business.
Therefore, business ownership begins before your business starts. Before you open the doors, you’re training to be a business owner. Most people say they fell into business and those are the people that struggle the most. They do not pull-on previous experience as well as additional training and education to maintain and sustain the business. Instead, those that fall into business ownership just happen to earn money but do not want to think about the impact of the business. Many do not care about the impact of the business. They are only focused on the money. And most of them don’t have a spending plan because they see the business as short term. I am not saying earning money is not important. However, when we only focus on earning money, we tend to lose more than we earn.
I have 20 plus years of business ownership. and I offer advice that creates, builds, and grows a profitable, successful, stress less, and sustainable business for me and others. The best part is that I teach business strategies that help you to have true business freedom. Giving you guided business maps and plans that help you to build a strong, healthy, and productive business. Your business can support you and the business. Creating sustainable and dependable owner’s pay. All while keeping taxes low to zero, very manageable with my accounting and business strategies.
I will help you with
great plans that will help you complete accounting and business processes for
you to accomplish more in less time. With the right pricing strategies and
business process optimization I have created more and earned more in less time.
When I say earned more, I am speaking of creating business processes,
workflows, and revenue (sales and expenses) management that increase your
bottom line (net profit) without all the theatrics or stress commonly known
among today’s business owners.
